On The Mend is uniquely co-founded by a patient, surgeon and physiotherapist, supported by experienced tech, healthcare and health tech leaders.
We are on a mission to build the first digital platform to improve the experience and outcomes for everyone involved with physical rehabilitation.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join an early-stage health tech startup On The Mend, based in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic healthcare professional graduate (Nursing, Physiotherapy or other related fields), ideally with a background in musculoskeletal or related research, to develop their research career.
Working across several clinical and community settings, you will be part of a development team of clinicians, academics and entrepreneurs involved with pilot projects and research aimed at generating evidence to demonstrate clinical impact of our proposition and technology at a patient, clinician and system-wide level.
Joining an early-stage startup, you will have the opportunity to shape the research agenda and lead on a number of pathbreaking studies in the field of physical rehabilitation, initially in orthopaedics with the possibility to expand to all clinical areas. We have ambitions to become a global leader in the field of digital health and will support your leadership potential.
The main role of the post-holder will be to work on pilot and research programmes (commercial and grant-funded).
Previous experience of administering research projects in musculoskeletal research is preferable though not essential.
It is desirable for the post holder to have previous experience in coordinating clinical research, including the writing of protocols although this is not essential.
This post would suit an individual who has knowledge of the MSK area, is a good communicator, are methodical, efficient and capable of demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.
